Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate telescopic handlers (telehandlers) safely and efficiently on construction sites, warehouses, and yard environments, adhering to all health and safety regulations (including LOLER, PUWER, and site-specific rules).
- Perform daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance on the machinery, reporting any defects or issues immediately to the site supervisor.
- Transport, lift, and place a wide variety of materials including bricks, blocks, roofing materials, timber, and steel to precise locations as directed.
- Work collaboratively with site managers, ground workers, and other trades to ensure materials are delivered on time to support project timelines.
